Description

An American National Lincoln Tandem in cream with blue fenders, blue beltline and a fine red pinstripe on the hood, with blue stamped louvre slots on the hood sides. Two-position tandem seating with blue pleated upholstery front and rear. A gold oval “LINCOLN” badge on the chrome radiator crown; the printed dash carries “American” in red script with scrollwork borders and gauges lettered Oil and Gas. Chrome radiator shell with vertical bars, chrome winged hood ornament, two chrome headlights with fluted lenses, chrome front bumper, chrome rear luggage rack, and a chrome windscreen frame with clear screen. Black steering wheel with a chrome three-spoke centre. Blue wire-spoke wheels with chrome hubs on whitewall tires. A desirable car on two counts: the tandem layout is hard to find, and the amount of bright-work — all of it clean — shows the attention to detail in the restoration.
